Mindful approaches to being a long-distance caregiver

Instructor: Roy Remer

Dates and Times:
June 3, 2022 (12:15-1:00pm PT)

In this day and age, it is common for many family caregivers to live far from those they support and care for. Technology and the convenience of modern travel can help. However, living far from a loved one dealing with health and lifestyle challenges can bring unique challenges, stresses, and strains.

In this free 45-minute session, Roy Remer shares the mindfulness and compassion-based techniques he has used while supporting his father across a long distance and will introduce practices that anyone can use to help navigate the sometimes emotionally challenging experience of being a long-distance caregiver.
