We recognize the weight of the work that professional caregivers are taking on and offer this free, live, online session to support you, while you support others.

In this session for professional caregivers, we will share mindfulness-based tools and compassionate approaches, and discuss ways to integrate these into your professional and personal life to reduce stress and increase resilience and wellbeing. We will also provide time for you to connect with other professional caregivers to share experiences and find comfort in the community of your peers.

Who is the course for:
The course is open to anyone who provides care as their occupation, including Nurses, Social Workers, Physicians, Therapists, and Direct Care Workers. CE credits are available.

Session objectives: 
As a result of this training, participants will be able to…

  • Define mindfulness and employ at least one mindfulness intervention into a daily routine. 
  • Apply a “self-compassion break” in the midst of daily routine.
  • Summarize at least two benefits of mindfulness in the context of caregiving
