Caring for someone living with a dementia-related illness can be one of life’s biggest challenges. It brings with it many rewards yet also many burdens. Cultivating mindful awareness can be a way to strengthen emotional resilience and enhance a sense of well-being while improving care that is offered. In this free 45-minute session, long-time meditation practitioner and Mindful Caregiving Education instructor, Teresa Bouza, will introduce the basics of integrating mindfulness practice into caregiving and share from her own experience how mindfulness has helped her in her caregiver role.
