An opportunity for mindful grief support for those who have experienced a significant loss in their life.
Instructor: Hephzi Plotkin
Based on the “peer support” model and mindfulness practices, this daylong gathering will provide a safe and intimate environment for participants to explore the process of grieving, while providing tools to fully acknowledge the reality of loss and its impact on one’s life.
These daylong sessions will include:
- Mindfulness meditation
- Personal reflection in small groups
- Practices on cultivating compassionate awareness and grief processing
- Contemplative poetry
- Additional resources for coping with grief
